The Fall 2012 New England Healthcare Internal Auditors, Inc. (NEHIA) Conference is scheduled for December 5 - December 7, 2012. The Conference will be held at the MYSTIC MARRIOTT HOTEL and SPA at 625 North Road, Groton, Ct.
The Purpose of this message is to inform you of the topics and speakers and to encourage your attendance. All are welcomed to attend. Registration can be completed electronically and more information can be obtained through our website nehia.org.
There will be presenations by nationally recognized speakers on Accounting & Auditing, Nonprofit Taxation and Corporate Compliance 2013 Updates. The presentations will also include discussions of Pharmacy Compliance, Conflict of Interest, and Attorney/Client Privilege. There will also be a discussion of the HIPAA Omnibus Rule the different treatment of Business Associates, and actions that must be taken after Privacy Breaches. Additionally, there will be a discussion and update on Auditing Research.
You will benefit in two ways by attending this conference. You will have the opportunity to attend these excellent presentations. You will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues from all over the country. We will be hosting receptions the first two nights of the conference to network with others.
