NEHIA H.E.R.O. Program

The NEHIA H.E.R.O. Program is designed for new producers who want to increase their knowledge and improve themselves and their operations in every aspect. All sessions are focused on maximizing the long-term viability of the operation through the latest research, emerging technologies, farm management practices, and peer relationships. The experience provides relevant, current and bottom-line information that is the best the industry has to offer.

The H.E.R.O. Program consists of two one-day sessions plus attendance at the quarterly meeting of the Nebraska Hemp Industries Association (NEHIA). You can expect a time commitment of six to nine days away from your farm (or business) over a 12-month period. Session locations are determined once participants have been selected. A maximum of 12 hemp farmers and 12 hemp businesses are selected to participate each year.
